Monsterella Reviews & Edits

 

What Author Submits

Monsterella Reviews and Edits requests manuscripts to be submitted in Word or GoogleDoc format to allow for tracking changes. The work request form needs to be completely filled out and submitted with sample of manuscript (3,500 words or a few chapters). A $25 non-refundable deposit is required at time of submission of signed contract to secure a time slot.

 

 

Services Offered and Pricing**

 

Line Editing- A comprehensive look at grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall flow

            $0.0035 per word for Line Edits* (eg $140 for 40k words)

 

Proofreading- A less intense look than Line Editing aimed at grammar, spelling, and punctuation

            $0.0025 per word for Proofreading* (eg $100 for 40k words)

 

Final Polish- A last look to ensure everything is in its place before being sent for publishing

            $0.0015 per word for Final Polish* (eg $60 for 40k words)

 

 

 

 

* Rate may increase if a multitude of issues needing attention are found; author will be contacted immediately upon the discovery. The author will then have the choice to either have MRE continue editing or pay for the work completed and make their own adjustments.

 

** All amounts will be rounded up to the nearest dollar.

 

 

 

Payments

 

Payments are to be made via Google Wallet to cre8amemre@gmail.com within 14 days of invoice.

All late payments will incur a late fee of 2.5% compounding monthly.

(PayPal payments can be made to monsterellareviews@gmail.com accepted with an additional 1.5% convenience fee.)

 

Initial deposit will be deducted from final total, and any charges MRE incurred will be itemized on final invoice.
